First Transit, management team for the Chemung Transit System and the Corning-Erwin Transit System, is seeking:
Drivers - Part Time and Full Time
Applicants must have an outstanding driving record and be willing and able to work shifts as assigned. Training to obtain a Commercial Drivers License available to qualified applicants. Competitive Wage and excellent benefits.
Diesel Mechanics
Prior experience with diesel engine, electrical systems and air brakes. Must be familiar with preventative maintenance program and NYSDOT inspection standards. Air Conditioning and/or ASE Certification a plus.
Must provide own tools. The ability to lift 100 lbs., stand, bend and climb. Employees are subject to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
Commercial driver's license with a passenger endorsement or willing to train to obtain one within 60 days of hire. Competitive Wage and excellent benefits.
